A birthday party!

Yesterday John went to a birthday party! It was such fun.
Julianna just loves John and she is so wonderful with him. Here she is showing him an ornament.

20 weeks

We had a few snow flurries this morning! They didn't last long but John and I did watch them for a little while. This week has had some significant milestones as you can see below. John has really mastered the cereal and now can eat quite a bit. As I type he is playing on the floor-picking up toys all by himself.

Guess what John can do...he can sit up all by himself! We have been practicing for the last few days and this morning John just did it!

Can you believe this... I can feed myself! That little elephant John has his hand on can turn on the mobile. I put him in the crib to watch the mobile and he reached right away for the elephant, like he knew it made the mobile work. I guess he's seen me do that many times!

19 weeks

Sorry I missed last week...didn't get my act together. Mr. short attention span was a bit of a challenge this morning, this is the best I could get!

Guess what? John loves his cereal. He gets so excited, he can hardly eat fast enough. Why am I not surprised

17 weeks

This week I had a difficult time geting a photo before John grabbed his toes. His latest achievement is holding his feet and boy does he like to show it off! It does make it easy to wipe his little bottom on the changing table! We are getting some real belly laughs this week and John now giggles at peek a boo! John is yet to roll over but he is getting close. He is much more settled on his eating routine and actually eats less now than he was a couple of weeks ago. John isn't sleeping through the night yet but we are getting close(maybe I shouldn't write that-he'll make a liar of me).

Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving I have a lot to be thankful for. This has been the best year ever. My beautiful baby boy has changed my life in so many ways. Bill and I love him so much, we can't believe he's ours. I have the best family and friends who support me in so many ways. I couldn't so it without them! So I am extra thankful this year for so very much!
