Pittsburgh party...party...party...

A whirlwind trip to Pittsburgh for several great events! We(that would be Bill) droveup on Thursday night and arrived about 3:00 am. Friday we relaxed around the house and took a nice walk in the...graveyard...sounds a little odd but it's really a great place. That night the festivities began with Grandads 70th birthday. Saturday was a bridal shower for Amy followed by a bachelorette party. Sunday I went to sweet Laura's baby shower and I was lucky enough to peek at Amy's wedding dress at a fitting. We left right after that and got home about 11:30 last night. I lost my voice at the bachelorette party--it was a lot of fun. The first real 'night out" I've had since John was born. John enjoyed the trip so much. He was so good with everyone. It was a great trip--but way too short

Sunday snapshots

This weekend we took John out on the boat for the first time. He didn't protest too strongly against the lifejacket--which surprised me. He thought the ride was ok. We had some giggles but also a little hesitation. We just went a little bit past the end of the cove for his first ride. He'll be Bills's first mate in no time. On friday the Palmiers stopped by on the way home from Disney. John loved all the kids and thought their dog, Zoe, was very exciting. We had a nice, but too brief visit. I hope we get together again soon
