mighty John

Every day there's something new! John is now pulling himself up to stand! He is very determined and now is racing around the house on all fours. Still a water baby, he doesn't like for the bath to end. We went out on the boat and to the pool-sorry not pics I forget my camera both times. John is still not sure about the boat. I think it's mostly the lifejacket. It just makes him hold his head really high, which he's not fond of. He is so cute!

hot fun in the summertime

Well summer temperatures have shown up with a vengeance! So off to the pool we went. I went to put the rashguard shirt on and discovered that it was made for a child with a tiny pin head! No worry-we just snipped a couple of times at the neck and on it went. John was obviously excited about the trip as you can see. If you look closely you can see John's teeth. He now has 3 on the bottom and 1 on top.
I almost forgot---he's crawling forwards now and building speed quickly! I guess I should get a video uploaded soon.

Chillin' in his float. I was so afraid he would get a sunburn and this float was great. John really liked the pool. He looked like a Florida retiree, just relaxing in the water. I cracked up at the way he reclined the whole time, his feet up at the surface in the front.He did keep a strong grip on the little watering can-must have been his security blanket.

What can you say, are these kids the cutest or what!

45 weeks

On May 28, John was lucky enough to gain a new uncle-Lenny! Bill and I went to St. Lucia(I Know!!) to join in the festivities.

But we sure did miss this face...and those little feet




We have a new pool in the front yard--John loves it! Just don't try to take him out.

44 weeks

This week we had John's 9 month checkup-a little late- he weighs 23 Lbs 11oz and is 31.5" long. Keeping him in the top percentile for his age. No shots this visit so John enjoyed the trip. He is a little leaner for his height, not quite so round! But he still has plenty of cute baby rolls.
