Surfside beach

We celebrated Grandma & Grandpops' 50th wedding anniversary wiith a family trip to the Surfside. We had a great house right across from the beach. It was great! John loved the pool at the house and even the ocean--but not the sand!

John has always been a water baby. Even when he was very little, a bath would make him so relaxed. Now, he's excited in the tub. I think I could let him sit there for an hour. He will play with his toys and then watch the last drops disappear down the drain. He doesn't care-except when I take him out!

Happy Birthday

Look out 'cause here I come!

John is officially one! I just can't believe it, a whole year has gone by. John really enjoyed his multiple birthday celebrations, we had another party last Saturday. I hardly took any pictures at the party-too much going on. Grandma and Grandpops, Aunt Susan, Julianna and Sarah came by and of course Rhett too! John declined to wear a party hat-but enjoyed crushing it!

He wasn't too sure about the cake--once again it went on the floor!
