So last week I spoke of John's winter ills...little did I know. This week he caught a really nasty virus. Thursday he seemed to have a major cold but that night his berathing became rapid and wheezy. I almost took him to the emergency room. I went to the drs. office first thing on Friday and he has Bonchilitis(sp?) brought on by RSV. Friday he was really sick and yesterday he got better but then crashed at the end of the day. Finally he's getting back to his regular self!
Today was almost 70'-just what the dr. ordered. We were able to open the windows and let some of the winter air out. It really was just a beautiful day.

John was 18 months old yesterday! I haven't taken any green chair pictures since....forever

Enjoying the morning sun. John likes to go to the playground and then just walk around--not really into the equipment..just loving the terrain.

Nana taught John to put toys on his head...now he likes to balance lots of stuff up there-like goldfish!

Just cute before his bath

Bill's carseat is in our bedroom while he's out of town. John just likes to sit in it

Catching up

We had some more snow last week. It was pretty for one day then iced over into a real mess. My poor kid has been struggling with one bug after another-stomach bug that lasted over a week, followed by a nasty flu last weekend and topped off with an ear infection that knocked him out! I think he's much better now and back to his fiesty self.
I snapped this photo right after the snowfall - I loved the kayaker in the cove

Mr. Mischief

fun in a box

Playing a little basketball

snugggles with blue bear

John loves a banjo! My camera always makes this clicking noise when I record so please try to disregard it. He loves this song. I'm warning you cuteness overload!!

Holiday roundup

Happy New Year !!! as always, the new year roared in at top speed leaving us wondering ..what happened..where did last year go? All the Christmas decorations are packed up..except for those 3 or 4 things that inevitably appear two days after everything else is up in the attic.
Christmas was a so great. It truly is best experienced through a child's eyes. John was spoiled by all grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends. It is always so funny to see him latch onto the cheapest, most unexciting toy he is given. This year a small christmas coloring book--he just loved sitting and turning the pages.
Onto the pictures...

cool dude..

Getting excited about a present--more likely the wrapping paper

Most of the gang at the Wigneys

John thought the Wii golf was sooo hilarious-i really should have a video--the giggles!

We actually had a white Christmas! Always so pretty.

Now this is what John does the majority of the time..CARS..Cars...Cars
he loves to play with them. this pic captures an ""ooh ooh ooh" moment, not unlike a little monkey. So funny!

Yo Aunt Amy!

Love the expression. Another of john's great joys; WALKING.

Hey, more cars!

And a few cars on the head!
